Eligibility

The LightHouse Awards are open to builders, architects, designers, and trade partners that are members of the Hilton Head Area Home Builders Association. All projects completed after July 31, 2024, within the greater Beaufort County region are eligible for submission.

  • Homes located on Daufuskie Island, or requiring boat access, are subject to a transportation fee equal to incurred expenses
  • Owner-occupied homes must allow access for in-person judging
  • Previous LightHouse Award-winning entries are not eligible

Submission Requirements

To complete your entry, the following items are required:

  • Completed Entry Application
  • Subcontractor & Supplier Selection (completed within portal)
  • Final building permit from the respective municipality
  • Signed Entry Release
  • Entry Payment

  • Exterior Rear
  • Kitchen
  • Primary Bedroom
  • Bathroom
  • Great / Living Room

Remodel Entries Only:

  • Before & After Photos (same angle preferred)

Additional Materials (Optional)

  • Promotional or supplemental materials
  • Supporting documentation or renderings (if applicable)
