Eligibility

The LightHouse Awards are open to all builder and remodeler members of the Hilton Head Area Home Builders Association for custom homes, semi-custom homes, and remodeling projects completed after July 31, 2024, within the greater Beaufort County region. 

  • Homes located on Daufuskie Island, or requiring boat access, are subject to a transportation fee equal to incurred expenses
  • Owner-occupied homes must allow access for in-person judging
  • Previous LightHouse Award-winning entries are not eligible

Submission Requirements

To complete your entry, the following items are required:

  • Completed Entry Application
  • Subcontractor & Supplier Selection (completed within portal)
  • Final building permit from the respective municipality
  • Signed Entry Release
  • Entry Payment

  • Exterior Rear
  • Kitchen
  • Primary Bedroom
  • Bathroom
  • Great / Living Room

Remodel Entries Only:

  • Before & After Photos (same angle preferred)

Additional Materials (Optional)

  • Promotional or supplemental materials
  • Supporting documentation or renderings (if applicable)
